Camera-ready Submission
Please follow these steps for smooth submission:
Check your final paper at IEEE PDF eXpress
To verify that your manuscript meets the IEEE
specifications, register to the
IEEE PDF eXpress
service and upload your paper before submitting
it to the conference web site. Enter soc09x to
the 'Conference ID' field. Click 'Create New
Title', type the title of your paper into the
'Enter Title Info' text box and click 'Submit
File for Checking or Converting'. Browse the file
and click 'Upload File'. You shall receive a
confirmation email of the successful upload.
After the file has been processed, you will
receive the results of the compatibility check,
and, if the manuscript meets the IEEE
specifications, a new version of the document.
Submit this file to the conference submission
system. If the paper does not pass the check, you
will receive a report (in PDF format) about your
document. By logging into the IEEE PDF eXpress
web site, you can see the found errors and
suggested corrections in great detail.
Revise the document and check again with IEEE PDF eXpress.
Iterate if necessary.
Fill in the IEEE Copyright Transfer Form:
We use the electronic copyright transfer form.
Please go and fill in the form.
Submit your final paper to SoC
Use the SoC submission page and
submit the new version you got from IEEE PDF eXpress.

When you are presenting a paper in SoC, you have to register as a fully paying delegate
(i.e. not in any of the free/pre-paid categories) to have your paper included in the
final programme, proceedings and IEEE Xplore.
Additional pages on top of the 4 included in the regular participation fee
can be purchased at SoC electronic registration page
(up to 4 extra pages) for 100 euros each.
